When a community becomes willing to welcome volunteers, local initiative and a Collection Point, something remarkable becomes possible.
The volunteer brings effort.
The Chairperson of Heart brings compassion, stature and encouragement.
The Collection Point creates a place of participation.
The community-based provider creates a place of belonging.
The first family receives dignity.
Each participant contributes something different. Together they create something none could create alone.
BAC exists to encourage, preserve and replicate these moments. Not by commanding them. Not by owning them. But by helping communities recognise what is already present within themselves.
We believe the greatest resource in any community is not money.
One volunteer. One act. One relationship. One family. Then another. And another.
